Reviewing preplanned bays

You can review the preplanned stowage for a bay in a scan view or a section view. However, because section views display larger container icons with more information, you may prefer to use a section view for this purpose.

To be able to view projected containers in these views, you must select the Preplan or the Stow timeframe.

If you receive a hard copy of your preplan information, and you do not use the XPS preplan feature, you would review the hard copy stow plan at this point.

To review a preplanned bay:

1. From the toolbar, select the Magnifying tool .

2. In the vessel profile view, shift-click the required bay.

3. In the section view, set the timeframe to Preplan or Stow.

4. Review the preplanned bay and modify containers (on page 1) as required.

5. To prepare for load planning, do the following:

1. From the toolbar, select the Pointer tool .

2. In the section view, double-click a projected container. XPS generates a list of real containers that match the projection criteria.

3. Continue with Selecting, sequencing, and placing containers (on page 1).
